 A truly versatile sewing machine with many applications including the manufacture and repair of sails, boat covers, hoods, upholstery, awnings and tents.

 

The powerful walking foot mechanism ensures even feed of dificult to sew fabrics including acrylic, PVC, slippery sail cloths and webbing without the creeping and puckering normally experienced.

Using the 6 point (3 step) stitch, pucker-free seams can be sewn. For extra large sails, an optional puller feed can be fitted.

 The large capacity sewing hook is suitable for thread sizes up to V138 which, in conjunction with the walking foot, makes the machine suitable for many applications in sailmaking including sewing around corner patches and the sewing on of tapes and UV strips.
Straight and zigzag stitches will not shorten on cross seams, giving a high quality finish on boat covers, spray hoods, sail covers and upholstery.

 With the conveniently arranged controls, changing between straight stitch, zigzag and 3 step can be done quickly and easily by the operator. Available with cam changeover or by lever.
