Clutch motor:

Clutch motor - fully CE compliant with guards                Safety switch - fully CE compliant

Clutch motors are fitted to most standard length arm sewing machines where no pneumatic equipment or automatic functions are required. They are activated by foot pedal.

Footlifting etc. is manual by knee lever, hand lever or 2nd foot pedal depending on the machine type.

Various speeds, voltage and HP are available, depending on machine type. We can supply both 1 phase and 3 phase.

Electronic motors give machines more versatility of use:

Features:

bulletSpeed control; any speed (up to the machine maximum) can be set. Even down to the possibilty of stitch by stitch operation
bulletFull power, even through thicker materials and over bulky seams and varying thickness'
bulletNeedle positioning; the machine can stop with the needle always in the up / down position. On a long arm machine this is particulary useful so that the operator does not have to reach for the balance wheel to raise or lower the needle leaving both hands free for handling the work
bulletProgrammable stitch count; any number of stitches can be programmed, i.e. a square of 10 stitches on each side, the machine will stop after 10 stitches for the operator to turn the piece. This can also be combined with other features, backtacking, thread trimming etc. (not on all models)

Pneumatic Options (air compressor also required):

bulletFootlifting; by back-heel on pedal or automatically when the operator stops sewing
bulletAuto-backtacking at the beginning / end of a run
bulletReverse; by pushbutton
bulletPuller lifting; with the footlift and independently
bulletPressure on the sewing foot; to stop creeping / puckering of the fabric on particulary awkward fabrics, adjustable by air regulator

Other options:

bulletAutomatic thread trimming (depending on machine)
bulletEdge sensor; to detect the edge of the fabric so that the machine stops automatically to either start another function (i.e. backtacking / thread trimming) or for the operator to turn the piece

Various speeds and voltage are available, depending on machine type. We can supply both DC (1 phase) and AC (3 phase).
